The Sole Representative Visa enables foreign companies to send a single key employee to the United Kingdom. After that, this person may open a UK branch or wholly-owned subsidiary for the foreign business.
Sole representative visa has undergone modifications
The UK Home Office made amendments to the Sole Representative Visa in 2020, making the application process more stringent than before. The new procedure now comprises the following steps:
– Supplying documentation that includes a detailed summary of the company’s operations and assets.
– A letter stating that you are knowledgeable about the business.
– Demonstrate that you are a senior executive in the business.
– Information about your Job title and salary.
Innovator Visa
The Innovator visa is for businesspeople who want to start a business in the United Kingdom. On March 29th, 2019, the Innovator visa category was introduced. This visa type is for anyone who wants to do business in the United Kingdom and is willing to spend GBP 50,000/- (either their own money or funding from an endorsing body) in the country.Applicants must present a novel business concept. In most cases, the company may not already exist. Applicants may function alone as a single creator or as part of a collaborative entrepreneurial team. Joint ventures may also be a viable option. The business concept can be in any industry, as long as it is sufficiently creative, viable, and scalable.
Eligibility for Tier 1 Innovator Visas
If you want to start a business in the UK using the Innovator Visa path, you must meet the following requirements:
– Obtain the approval of an Endorsing Body for your business concept.
– Prepare to invest £50,000 in your business.
– Have enough money in your account to last at least 28 days.
– Individual financial requirements of £1,270 must be met.
– Possess an excellent command of the English language.


UK Residency & Citizenship by Investment
The Tier 1 investment visa is an option for investors looking for a residency visa in the United Kingdom. To be eligible for a UK Investor visa, you must have at least £2 million in hand and be able to invest it in actively trading UK companies.
Investor visa requirements
You must meet the following criteria to be eligible for a Tier 1 Investor visa:
– Supplying documentation that includes a detailed summary of the company’s operations and assets.
– You have at least £2 million in assets that belong to you, your wife, or the two of you together.
– The funds are held in a government-regulated financial institution.
– You must open a bank account with a controlled bank in the United Kingdom with the intention of investing at least
£2 million in the country. – You will not be required to meet any English language requirements as a UK Investor visa applicant.
